3rd September, London: Dr Shaista Lodhi a popular tv host and presenter. Presently she has a live cooking show called ‘Mehman – Nawaz’ which is a very popular show.
She is launching her own brand of collections very soon and she is promoting different community causes.
Born in Karachi with her siblings, she has found huge fame from a pakistani morning show called ‘Good Morning Pakistan’ which aired on ARY.
She later joined Geo TV and hosted ‘Utho jago Pakistan’.
Dr Shaista has interviewed most of the Politicians, Sports personalities, Bollywood and Lollywood heroes, vocalists, actors and actresses from TV plays. She won an Honorary ‘Dalda Expert Mum awards in 2008.
Apart from conducting TV shows, she has exhibited her great regard for humanitarian causes. She chooses social issues, family issues, women issues and the issues related to kids and those of the poor as themes of her TV programs – with a view to highlight their issues and ameliorate the masses through her shows.
She has conducted historical charity telethons. Through such telethons she has collected millions of rupees for charity. For this reason alone, her services to humanity are regarded important and carry weightage.
She has won recognition at various platforms due to her calibre and skill. Her deep attachment and contribution towards the common issues of society has also won her a great number of fans.
Dr. Shaista arrive to London this morning and has earned a good name in acting as well. Nowadays, she is busy in a number of TV serials and the overseas community will definitely be entertained by her plays and dramas.
