With the recent Coronavirus outbreak in China, we found it important to alert our readers on some vital information as it emerges its way into becoming a global virus.
For those travelling in and around Asia, take extra precaution. With the NHS informing us of no current vaccine, it is essential to abide by the following tips. The same tips apply to those travelling elsewhere.
- Cover your mouth with a tissue when you sneeze or cough
- Wash hands thoroughly or use a hand sanitizer
- Avoid close contact with people who are unwell
- Ensure you wear a mask when travelling
- Travel only if necessary
Call 111 if you have travelled to China, Thailand, Japan, Taiwan, Singapore, Malaysia and Republic of Korea in the last 14 days and have a cough, high temperature or shortness of breath.
