The Annual BVAC Classic Motorshow Festival
For more than half a century the BVAC Classic has been organised by the Borders Vintage Automobile Club, with this year seeing over 1,000 classic and vintage vehicles making their way to the event. This year, the show is celebrating 60 years of the Ford Mustang, with an array of American Muscle Cars, as well as motorcycles, commercial, steam, military, and agricultural vehicles on display. There will also be a range of family friendly attractions, including a live rally action stage, BMX stunt displays, children’s activities and an artisan food and drink village. Dreams, Hopes and Realities Arab Film Festival
UK’s largest and longest-running Arab film festival, SAFAR Film Festival, returns for its ninth edition from 18 – 30 June across the UK. It will feature work from pioneers like Michel Khleifi to feature debuts by the likes of Amjad Al Rasheed and Sofia Alaoui across a compelling programme with Palestine at its heart. One of the films featured will be “Inshallah A Boy” made by Amjad Al Rasheed brings a moving story of survival, hope and strength based in Jordan and in the face of oppressive patriarchal structures. After the sudden death of her husband, working mother Nawal must fight for her inheritance in order to save her daughter in a society where having a son would be a game changer. In a shorts programme dedicated to female coming of age stories.
Films spanning 15 Arab countries and is accompanied by a range of events, Q&As and talks. There will be 60 screenings and events across four London venues, plus eight cinemas in Birmingham, Cardiff, Glasgow, Hull, Liverpool, Manchester, Oxford and Plymouth.

Festival of Sacred World Music in Morocco
Set amidst the ancient walls and labyrinthine alleys of Morocco’s spiritual capital, this festival celebrates the universal language of music, bringing together renowned artists from across the globe. The Mawazine Festival – An Ancient and Regal Festival
Morocco’s largest festival is set to light up the streets of Rabat this year after a four-year hiatus. This June will soar as music fills the air, festival-goers are given the opportunity to experience the best of culture, art and entertainment during this week-long celebration of Rabat’s culture and history.
The return of the Mawazine festival coincides with the grand opening of some of the city’s most iconic landmarks, including the Zaha Hadid-designed Grand Theatre of Rabat, the soaring Mohamed VI Tower. History lovers won’t want to miss a private visit to the ancient ruins of Chellah, once a thriving Roman settlement that blends Roman, Islamic, and Moroccan architectural styles. The site hosts intricate mosaics, ornate tombs, and serene fountains, that serve as a glimpse into Rabat’s rich past.
