The much-loved Ramadan crescent lights have returned to Edgware Road, bringing a warm glow to the heart of London’s Muslim community.
Organised by Marble Arch London BID in partnership with The Portman Estate, the stunning 2.9m illuminated crescent at Nutford Place shines daily from 6am to 11pm until 30 March 2025. Adorned with warm white LEDs and gold insets, the crescent bears the heartfelt message “Ramadan Mubarak”, symbolising unity and celebration.

Following its debut last year, the installation has quickly become a cherished tradition, complementing the area’s vibrant iftar gatherings and Eid celebrations.

A photocall on 28 February marked its return, with local councillors and community members celebrating its impact.

Kay Buxton, CEO of Marble Arch London BID, expressed excitement for its growing significance: “It became a real focal point last year, and in 2025, we expect even more families and friends to meet at this stunning installation.” As the community comes together to observe Ramadan, the crescent lights stand as a powerful symbol of faith, culture, and togetherness in the heart of London.
